Insignificance

Why do we draw ourselves into the insignificant events to create calamity in an otherwise serene and day to day life… Are we not able to decipher what matters and what does not? Is it really that oblivious to some of us that there is a darker cloud on the horizon than just leeches that plague the path of our journeys? I wish it was that vivid to all of us, that giving notice to the bugs in the jungle will blindside us to the dangers of our immediate and future surrounding. I wish that we all had the foresight of experience, in a life full of vermin waiting for us to fall and chew away at our insides, to circumvent certain circumstances that would otherwise compromise our well being and prosperity.
Unfortunately, it is what it is as foresight curses us with a vision that is not easily shared with our blindfolded loved ones, who are so easily sucked back into samsara… it might as well be a vision of one’s own end and sharing its knowledge brings nothing more than a swift self fulfilling prophecy. I struggle to remain a silent seer… forever blessed with the curse of an understanding that is overly universal for the world he lives in. Shhhh… soon they shall realize, just pray it isn’t too late for them…
