Come With Me

by HeadCase on Jul.21, 2006, under Philosophical

______follow_______by_maryinred_1Step inside the lovely desert of dreams, where colors and contrast are in marriage. Nobody’s there to jolt you from this pleasant candy of visions. What you see next doesn’t have to make sense, but where it takes you does away from the unpleasantness of reality that the rest of them have created. Dreams are as important as reality because sleep is detrimental in living, simple and true. Don’t be too surprised to find that everyone around you are just petrified in life waiting for an almighty to take them away from the evil clutches of fate. In the hands of faith, should be your destiny, and in your destiny you will find only your hands.

Let them step aside, but we’ll go in steady and straight for the levy. If you fell along the way, just go on a holiday away from anyone and yourself. What is identity to you if it doesn’t take you to the sandbox and playing openly in the sun. Let who you are, be and become, eventhough I can’t find the words to describe this nor how it would make you feel so sound you lose control. Thats when you are… in control.

So drift with me into the field of pleasant memories, forget the storms though they have swayed you away from this norm. For out of the worse can only come something better. Listen to the groove in these walks of life, colour your energies and come with me, step into this lovely desert of dreams.

cant sleep. dunno what to do.
so.. guess i’m back here. gr8 blog, as always.
i wish i can do what u suggesting in ur blog right now. :)

Yes, I would like to step into the field of pleasant memories and cast aside the storms. But that would be just for a moment coz life is a reality and that includes pain. Imagine you are alone right in the middle of a desert – will you feel lost, forlorn, filled with emptiness and despair as you gaze at the vastness of sand around you or simply let your mind drift into nothingness?

Its the moments in the now we should live in, the past makes who we are but should that govern who we want to be? The ugliness or beauty of the desert depends on you, it is an objective vision, our stupid brains are the ones that assign a value to it…and besides, nothingness can be quite calming sometimes. :)

Thanks for the comment nonetheless, and thanks for reading.

“Don’t be too surprised to find that everyone around you are just petrified in life waiting for an almighty to take them away from the evil clutches of fate. In the hands of faith, should be your destiny, and in your destiny you will find only your hands.” WOW!!Great wordings.

I see you like Nietzche’s books, no wonder you sound a little like him. But I hope you will not end up like him. He lived such a sad life.

  • Casey

Yes, i do like Nietzche especially the way he words his thoughts. His ideas were interesting but incomplete. Don’t worry though, i can’t possibly end up like him, coz i am not capable of taking myself seriously. :) cheers, and thanks for commenting.

I browsed thru the featured blogs and yours happened to catch my attention. I really like your blog.. You have a gift of putting your thoughts eloquently into words and make the ideas seem alive. I wonder where did you get all these ideas from.. I feel like reading a beautiful story. As for me, life is like a book. I believe in life after death. So, this life on earth is just the beginning of the chapters. Every day is a wonderful journey, yet it’s also a test of character and faith. It certainly is not an easy journey. But evry single day we build our strength by facing the adversity that comes our way and be more prepared to face whatever life is or will be throwing at us. The essential thing is to always keep our HOPE alive that we have our rewards at the end of all these tests and the rewards will be well worth it, because it will be free from any kind of sufferring we face while we are still here on earth. And the second essential substance is to always have FAITH that no matter what comes our way today the One who creates us will give us the strength we need to overcome. For me the One is Jesus. My faith is not perfect, nor do I feel hopeful all the time. But it’s where I came to him again and again to regain my strength when evrything else seems so dark or falling apart. Hmm.. I think that’s all I have to say for now. I recommend Rick Warren’s book called the Purpose Driven Life (What on Earth Am I Here For?) for more insight about life. I found this helpful, I hope you all do too.
Keep inspiring others thru your writings :)

One hallucinates in the desert which is quite similar to dreams as what you see next doesn’t have to make sense or even exist but still I’ll like to apply some sunscreen lotion first before I step in… ;p
