Idleness in the ideal

by HeadCase on Jun.27, 2006, under Philosophical

An ideal. Spawns from a vague understanding of perfection. How it is intepreted by our four corners of limitation. Do you know why you have come here? Why you are here… and for what purpose? Is it the the will of an all powerful being that gives answers to what we cannot? like the symbol of infinity in math, it simply means it cannot be answered? and infinity is taken by the place of an ideal. An ideal that is a symbol we created in place of a question to an answer that cannot be answered. And yet, the answers are all there, sprawled out between and inside of us all but inaccesible through our 5 senses. The next time you try to understand something, don’t try to comprehend with your brain; the next time you want something to happen, will it to be and it will; as natural as 1 + 1 = 2. We created it, we can always recreate it… for we are all the one powerful being that is infinite with instances gathered and scattered throughout the universe and united because we’re unlimited. If you can understand this, then you may be just as crazy as I am, maybe more.

*To my more normal readers/friends, these are just ramblings… i’m not really crazy… i hope. haha.

You’re not crazy, you sound a lot like my brother :) He too has esoteric views like you. I agree with you on one view strongly.. about ideals and perfection. It’s relative. What I would deem as perfect may differ for you. Ans as for knowing or not knowing, I think what matters most is the shattering of illusions to reveal the truth. And the hardest truths to accept are about ourselves. Even you couldn’t honestly say you’re crazy.. That too is relative :) Anyway, have a great day, and keep chill :)

If those words you composed came from your own mind, then, you’re just being human. Believing in something which is beyond human is just simply human. All those philosophical belief doesn’t matter in the end. Maybe better discuss things that can produce actual results….

is it to late for a comment? hope not.

funny, but this thought of u had crossed my mind .. cant remember when.. not that i dont believe in the traditional GOD .. well, i have faith, extra-ordinary maybe.. not very traditional but still i believe and that what matters to me. once, it just came across my mind.. the bible says, ‘we were likened to GOD’ .. are we really just likened? can’t we be a part of that GOD .. the extra-ordinary men on earth .. aren’t they just mere parts of GOD? .. if we have that insecurity ..could not that GOD had too much of it in the beginning.. so he/she decided to just break himself/herself into pieces .. and that started the creation .. and all of us is just a part of that GOD .. and that makes the GOD all knowing and all seeing.. the good and the evil(?) … and maybe all our questions would someday be answered by collaborative efforts of our geniouses in the field of science and when they do .. that’s creepy.. would we know what the others are thinking .. could we predict our own death .. would there still be challenges that would keep us going … the works of science sometimes is very alarming .. and most of the time disturbing..

    i stopped thinking abt it..

you’re a genious… is it a blessing or a curse? it could be both. yes, sadly.

sometimes, it’s really better not to know .. not to pscychoanalyze things coz we tend to exxagerate them.
don’t put too much pressure on ur head, man!! dont let it wear u out.. dont let it eat u alive.

live life. have fun. good thoughts for you… ciao

I would like to recommend this book entitled “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren to those who are seeking answers on why we are here and for what purpose. It offers distilled wisdom on the essence of what life is all about.

A brief information about this book. It has been awarded “The Gold Medallion Book Award” and over 16 million copies have been sold – a groundbreaking manifesto on the meaning of life. Believe me, you’ll never be the same after reading this book. Dare to take the challenge?
